OverviewThe meter is the one that is used to meter and display the heat released or absorbed by water flow via a heat exchange system and is composed of a flow sensor, a paired temperature sensor and a calculator (integrator) and other parts. Its working principle is that when water flow passes through the heat exchange system, the calculator receives water volume measurement signals based on ultrasonic wave time difference, and measures the difference value in combination with the temperature of water inlet and return pipelines, and integrate the thermal energy conversion value within a period of time, and displays it on a display and stores it for inquiry.

Performance characteristics:

The meter uses a high-quality transducer and an advanced electronic measurement technology, thus ensuring high accuracy and stability of metered flow.

There is no any mechanical motion, or wear and tear, and metering accuracy is not affected by the meters service cycle, and it has low maintenance costs and small pressure loss.

The meter is minimally affected by poor water quality, and is completely free from impurities, chemical substances and magnetic materials. In addition, it operates stably and reliably, and has low startup flow which ensures measuring accuracy.

The meter uses a high-precision PT1000 temperature sensor, with high metering accuracy, stable performance, quick response and precise paring, so the temperature measurement errors on cold and hot ends are close to zero.

The integrator uses the MSP430 single chip microcomputer of American TI Company. The advanced micro and low power consumption design can prolong the battery life by over 6 years.

The meter is installed conveniently, and supports horizontal and vertical installation, and its head can be rotated so as to satisfy the reading requirements with different directions.

Several communication methods are available (M-BUS remote meter reading and infrared meter reading) for remote data transmitting and collective meter reading.

The meter has an automatic error diagnosis function which can ensure its safe and accurate operation.

Cold-hot (both heating and refrigeration amount can be metered) water inlet and return temperatures are available for construction and installation.

Based on order requirements, 1525 temperature measurement ball valves or temperature measurement tee-junction parts can be provided.
